Arcade Fire Live Simulcast To Be Directed By Gilliam

Arcade Fire
- one of the very best bands in the world - are about to release The Suburbs, their third album on August 3rd. Their debut album, Funeral, is one of the best albums released in the last decade, and their second release, Neon Bible, was my Album of the Year for 2007. So needless to say, words cannot describe my excitement.

As an album kick off, AF will be simulcasting their Madison Square Garden performance on-line on August 5th. As if that weren't amazing enough, the simulcast will be filmed by Terry Gilliam, he of legendary Brazil/12 Monkeys/Fisher King/Fear and Loating In Las Vegas fame.

Cool cool cool. Can't wait. Mini-set for the performance can be found here.
