Alexander McQueen, who referred to himself as "the Edgar Allen Poe of fashion" committed suicide last year at the age of 40. His work often drew upon Gothic inspiration and British history, two unique approaches that manifest in the work in a dramatic, sweeping arrangement.Currently the Met in New York City is hosting an exhibition of his work. Even viewing the show in the film above, the presentation is stunning. It runs from May 4-August 11. More here.
