Sans Serif? Sand Serif?

The new Frank Miller film, "The Spirit", opens on Christmas Day, and it looks awesome. It is filmed in a similar style as "Sin City" was a few years ago, which was a massive leap forward in digital film technology. "Sin City" emphasized black, white, and red almost exclusively to dramatic effect.
I noticed that Eva Mendes plays a character named Sand Serif in "The Spirit", which of course makes me smile! Anyway, check out the trailer, it looks really interesting, at least visually.
